One Mangal Box comfortably caters for 2 people. You can also cook for 3–4 people if needed, however expect longer cooking times as you'll be cooking in additional batches.

Each Mangal Box contains approximately 2.4kg of hardwood lump charcoal, giving you a generous amount of fuel for your cook-up.

The Mangal Box is designed as a convenient single-use charcoal solution. Once you've enjoyed your cook, safely dispose of the remaining ash once it is completely extinguished and cold.

Absolutely. In fact, that's one of the reasons we created it. The Mangal Box keeps your charcoal and ignition system together in one convenient package, making it easy to take camping, to the park or on your next outdoor adventure. Always check local fire restrictions and only use charcoal fires where permitted.

Yes, provided your BBQ is suitable for charcoal and large enough to safely accommodate the Mangal Box. The box measures approximately 23 × 23 × 26cm, so we recommend checking the internal dimensions of your BBQ before use.

The Mangal Box is designed so that its outer packaging burns away as part of the lighting process, leaving the charcoal behind to establish your cooking fire. Follow the supplied lighting instructions and allow the charcoal to establish fully before cooking.
